NATIONAL INSURANCE SCHEME ONE-OFF PAYMENT

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The Government of Guyana has approved a One-Off Payment via the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) to Insured Persons who do not have the 750 contributions on record required for a pension and have met the following criteria:
a) Contribution Requirement: Persons MUST have attained 500 to 749 contributions on record.
b) Age Requirement: Persons MUST be 60 years or older as of December 31, 2024.
c) Pension Status: Persons MUST NOT currently be receiving and/or do not qualify for any pension from NIS.
STEPS TO APPLY
1) Find out if you are eligible by clicking here: https://oneoffnis.gov.gy
2) If eligible, complete the application form and submit via any of the following four (4) methods:
a) Access the form, complete and submit online
OR
b) Download the form, print, complete, and email to [email protected]
OR
c) Download the form, print, complete, take pictures and submit via WhatsApp to +592-751-2887 or +592-751-2883.
OR
d) Pick up the form at any NIS office countrywide, complete the form, and return the completed form to any NIS office countrywide.
This Application Form will require some basic information such as name, address, phone number, ID/Passport numbers.
